                                          Indicates that an object is being used as a basis
                                          for comparison with another object. 

   object_of_ranking                      IV      set[0 .. N] of (object_ranking)

                                          Indicates that an object is being classified in
                                          a rank order based on its characteristics.

                                          A textual description of the earth model object.

   identifier                             I       ndt_name

                                          The local label used to identify an earth model
                                          object. 

   geoscience_interpretation              I       geoscience_interpretation

                                          The activity which created this object. 

   position_uncertainty_classification    IV      set[0 .. N] of (position_uncertainty_classification)

                                          Defines the set of classifications of this position
                                          with respect to its degree of uncertainty. 

   synthetic_log_trace                    I       synthetic_log_trace

                                          Indicates a synthetic log trace which is positioned
                                          in the earth at this location. 

   geologic_process                       I       set[0 .. N] of (geologic_process)

                                          Indicates a geologic process which is positioned
                                          by this location. 

   geologic_feature                       I       geologic_feature

                                          The geologic feature being represented by this
                                          position in the earth subsurface. 

   binset                                 I       binset

                                          Defines the binset which is implied by the grid
                                          used in the geometry specification. The grid of
                                          the binset is defined using "bin line index" and/or
                                          "bin point index" values. The binset has properties
                                          which locate the grid in 2D space. 

   whole                                  IV      set[0 .. N] of (earth_position_composite)

                                          Indicates various spatial composite locations
                                          which utilize this position as a component. 


identifying_whole                                 earth_position_composite

                                          Specifies the composite spatial object to which
                                          this one belongs. 

seismic_geometry_set                              seismic_geometry_set

                                          Defines the geometry set which partially identifies
                                          this geometrical interpretation. This will typically
                                          point to the "2D line".
