Entity grid_refinement_modification

• This describes a grid modifcation in which many elements (usually cells or faces) of the target grid are replaced by more elements from the source grid.

                                          Indicates the data collections that include this
                                          instance of E and P data. 

   graphical_element                      IV      set[0 .. N] of (graphical_element)

                                          Specifies one or more graphical elements which
                                          are depicting this data item. 

   description                            I       ndt_comment

                                          A description of the transient association. 

   duration                               IN      ndt_time

                                          Defines the duration of the association expressed
                                          in any valid units of time. 

   end_time                               IN      ndt_date_tod

                                          End time of the association. 

   start_time                             IN      ndt_date_tod

                                          Start time of the association. 

   caused_by                              I       activity

                                          Specifies the activity which establishes this
                                          association. 

   terminated_by                          I       activity

                                          Specifies the activity which established the
                                          termination of a transient association between
                                          two objects. 

   first_element                          MI      ndt_pint4

                                          The element of the target grid that is the lower
                                          bound of the portion being modified. 

   ref_element_kind                       MI      ref_element_kind

                                          The kind of element being used to delimit the
                                          refined portion of the target grid. 

   second_element                         MI      ndt_pint4

                                          The element of the target grid that is the upper
                                          bound of the portion being modified. 

   target_grid                            MI      grid_structured

                                          Indicates the grid for which this modification
                                          is created to modify. 

   source_grid                            MI      grid_structured

                                          Indicates the grid that is being used as the
                                          modification to the target grid. The source grid
                                          replaces the portion of the target grid designated
                                          by this modification. 


parent_element                            N       ndt_integer_element

                                          This is the description of the parent (target)
                                          cell for each child  (source) cell, allowing each
                                          child cell to have many parents.  No record  is
                                          made of the child cells pointing to each parent
                                          cell. Note that each  child may record only one
                                          parent.
