• The natural drive mechanism for the recovery of reservoir fluids. The drive mechanism is determined by the sources of energy inherent in a reservoir which force reservoir fluids into a well completion.

                                          for the reservoir. For example, a reservoir may
                                          have 30 percent water drive at one time and 40
                                          percent at another.
